Welcome to Gaitbol, we are a company dedicated to intelligent assistive walking technology. Our goal is to improve people's lives, enhance their mobility and independence. Gaitbol is a multifunctional assistive walking robot created by us, designed to provide more power and freedom.
Founding Story
Peter's father is an engineer who has been collaborating with the National Industrial University in research work since 1994. Influenced by his father, Peter has had a strong interest in industrial technology and innovation since childhood.
In 2015, Peter's younger sister Anmy suddenly suffered a stroke, resulting in limited mobility in her lower limbs. This event deeply changed their family and future. Later, during Anmy's rehabilitation training at home, she accidentally fell and hit her head on the corner of a table. Peter felt guilty, thinking that it was his negligence for not taking care of his sister properly.
In 2016, faced with the rehabilitation challenge of his sister Anmy, Peter began to search for innovative solutions. He embarked on studying medical technology and robotics to improve Anmy's recovery process.
In 2017, the Gaitbol creative team was formally established, consisting of engineers, rehabilitation doctors, and robotics experts. Peter turned his dreams into action and started developing a brand new walking-assistance robot.
In 2018, Gaitbol gradually took shape. With the help of Gaitbol, Anmy has regained 80% of her walking ability, and Gaitbol continues to be improved and upgraded through Anmy's usage.
In 2019, after years of research and relentless effort, the Gaitbol robot made its first appearance. Its innovation attracted widespread attention and multiple patents were applied for.
In 2021, Gaitbol completed testing with its first batch of users and began producing a commercial version. User feedback was extremely positive, and the robot started to be applied in the fields of rehabilitation and home care.
In 2022, Gaitbol was officially launched for sale, providing more independence and rehabilitation opportunities for people with limited mobility. Social responsibility became one of its core values.
In 2023, Gaitbol established a 5-year partnership with the National Industrial University, leveraging the research resources and innovative wisdom of the prestigious university, and continuously improving Gaitbol with cutting-edge technology to create greater value for society.
Currently, Gaitbol has been used in over 100 medical rehabilitation hospitals and professional institutions, with nearly 1.5 million uses for rehabilitation exercises per year.
In the future, Gaitbol will not only be a medical device but also a brand representing innovation and hope. We will continue to drive innovation, committed to pushing boundaries, creating more opportunities for society, and reshaping the future of rehabilitation and care.
